For this week, we were asked to brainstorm potential stakeholders who we will later design direct mailers for. Naturally, the direct mailers will be designed with the stakeholder in mind, tailored for their potential likes, wants, attributes, etc. I went about obtaining a stakeholder by thinking of my client, OU Recruitment Services and thinking of their goal: inclusivity. With that in mind, I also thought about the University of Oklahoma’s strongest assets and how I could portray those through images. But for the potential stakeholder, I envision: 16-22 year old, non-english speaking transfer students, who pursue a club or organization to become involved in.
I think the most important part of your first year is to feel comfortable, and I would like to reach out to those who might have a harder time with this because of language barriers.
